1.- Colic: is the most common horse disease. The condition can be caused by a blockage of the intestines, excessive gas in the intestines or the intestines becoming twiste, also be caused by some gastrointestinal parasit.
2.- Laminitis: refers to inflammation of the digital laminae, of certain internal structures of the hoof. The affected foot may feel hot to the touch.
3.- Equine Influenza: This viral disease is spread by inhalation of drops of infective material. In this cases presents fever, dry coughs, increased mucus production and despondency.
4.- Tetanus: is caused by bacteria entering a wound in a horse. Symptoms of tetanus include a protrusion of
the third eyelid and stiff neck, progressing to overall muscle stiffness
causing a 'sawhorse' stance.
5.- West Nile Virus: Horses get WNV by being bitten by an infected mosquito. results in encephalitis along with possible meningitis, which is a swelling of the lining of the spinal cord and the brain.


I like this website because here, pigs are not considered only food, they considered as a pet.. and also exist a sanctuary for them, an education center. In this place they promotes compassion and respect for all living beings.
